School Rules

LEAVE/ABSENCE AND LATE COMING:

(I)    In all cases of absence the parent/guardian is expected to make an entry in the pupils calender on the appropriate page marked "Non-attendance and Leave Record".

(ii)    Absence of three days or more on medical grounds is to be confirmed by a medical certificate and it should be submitted to the principal along with a leave application dully attested by parent/guardian.Failure to do so may result in the student being sent back home.

(iii)    Absence without leave is seriously viewed and in case of six consecutive days of absence the name of the pupil shall be struck off the rolls.He would be readmitted after he has paid all the dues with fresh admission fees,and that too at the discretion of the Principal.

SCHOOL PROPERTY:

Deliberate and willful or repeated damage to the school property would be viewed as a major misconduct. The parent concerned will have to make good the damage.Further,depending upon the severity  of the damage and  or repetition of the vandalism, the parent would on request have to withdraw his ward from the school or the student world have to face expulsion.



BEHAVIOUR:

(I)    Courtesy and respect must be the key aspects of a pupil's behaviour.Disrespect and disobedience may result in disciplinary action,involving suspension or even expulsion or a parent may be asked to withdraw his child.

(ii)    Pupils are expected to treat all members of the staff and visitors with respect.They should always remember that the school is judged by its conduct.

(iii)    Undisciplined and rowdy behaviour in the school buses,will disqualify the student from using the bus.

(iv)    All pupils are responsible to the school authorities for their behaviour both in and outside the school.Any reported or observed objectionable conduct outside the school on the part of pupils shall render them liable for disciplinary action.

DRESS AND APPEARANCE:

(i)    All pupils must come to school in the prescribed uniform.

(ii)    Repeated failure to comply with the school's uniform regulation may result in the offending pupil being sent back home.

(iii)    Pupils are not permitted to wear any jewellery in the school.

(iv)    Girls are instructed not to grow/paint finger nails and to ensure the hair is styled in a manner befitting pupils in school.

(v)    Boys are instructed to ensure their hair is neatly/evenly trimmed and maintained above the level of the collar.

(vi)    Finger nails should be trimmed once a week.

(vii)    Shoes should be well polished daily.


SCHOOL UNIFORM:

In summer :Monday to Thursday : Sky blue half sleeve shirts and salty coloured half or full pants/skirts,black shoes and blue socks.

    Friday and Saturday : White half sleeve shirts and white full or half pants,whit shoes and socks.

In winter : In winter season the uniform will be the same as in summer.All the students have to put on maroon coloured machine knit plain V-neck pullover and blazer.

All the girls of standard VI to X are requested to put on salwar of white colour and sameej of sky blue colour with white dupartta.

Note :Uniform must be well pressed,neat and clean.

SCHOOL TIME:

Summer Time :From April to June

    7:00A.M. to 11:30A.M.

Except Summer :From July to March

    8:00A.M. to 1:30A.M.

Note :School timings are subject to change from mid April to May. Parent will be notified accordingly.

DISCIPLINE:

(i)    All pupils are expected to conduct themselves in a disciplined at all time and in all places.Whole Hearted co-operation from guardians is expected at all time in the formation of the character of their children.

(ii)    Disrespect and or disobedience displayed by a student will entail disciplinary action being taken against the offender.

(iii)    Normally all disciplinary action committee comprising of five senior teachers.In special cases,however,the Director,is empowered to take such action as he deems fit in the interest of the school.

RECOMMENDATION TO PARENTS:

    The school always looks forward to the co-operation of parents from day to day.

(i)    Parents are requested to see the children wear clean and proper uniform to school.

(ii)    You are requested to pay special attention to the personal cleanliness of your child.

(iii)    If you have any legitimate complaint please feel free to meet the principal on any working day.

(iv)    Encourage your child to participate in all activities of the school.

(v)    If a child is required to leave school early in case of an emergency then the parent or guardian would have to come personally to take the child home.

(vi) Respond promptly to all school circulars.

(vii)Ensure that the pupil is punctual and in correct smart uniform.

REDRESSAL/PROCEDURE:

If a student feels that an injustice has been done to him/her in any way by any member of the staff or a student body,then he/she should always feel free to air his/her opinion or feelings in confidence to the principal or the Director.The student may be assured that every effort would be made to see that the injustice is removed or the wrong corrected.

NOTE:

(a) Misbehaviour of a parent with a teacher or school-staff would empower the school management with the right to strike the name of the child off rolls of the school.

(b)    However if a controversy does arise at any time matters should be sorted out in the chamber of the Director/Principal only.For better and durable relationships moves for a reconciliation will always  be made by the management.

(c)   During school hours,students will not be allowed to go home with relatives or unauthorised persons.Only parents are authorised to pick up their children during school hours.

(d)   The school management reserves the right to change or amend the rules and regulation as enshrined in the school diary and the same on being notified to the parent will have to be adhered to by them.
